New Melton Station

New Melton Station

The new Melton Station opens on Tuesday 1 September

A bigger and more modern Melton Station will open on Tuesday 1 September 2026.

The new station facilities include:

- Lift and stair access to platforms 2, 3, and 4
- 16 metre wide through link with convenient access from Brooklyn Road and Staughton Street
- New myki ticket machines
- A section of the southern car park with nine accessible car spaces
- Southern forecourt with bicycle parking

Works will continue on the new Melton Station precinct until early 2027. When complete, the new station will feature:

- More than 940 car spaces, including accessible car spaces
- New bus interchange
- New staffed ticket office, passenger waiting room, seating and toilets
- Lift and stair access to all platforms
- Secure parkiteer bicycle storage and hoops
