We connect Victorian communities and Industry, people and places, and 1400 passed after passionate about the vital role they play.
Many of our team work and live across the state and we're committed to providing outstanding value and service to all their customers by delivering safe, reliable, accessible passenger transport services.
We're also the state-owned enterprise that provides access too and maintains almost 4,000 kilometres a broad gauge track used by passengers and rail freight services.
So how do we make it happen? Well, by running 1400 train services and 600 coach serves as a week.
Connecting Melbourne with key centres across regional Victoria.
Our passenger and freight services are growing at a phenomenal rate thanks
to you, our loyal customers, who are already doing almost fifteen million passenger trips a year.

Where we can take you
Each week, we schedule more than 1700 train services between Melbourne and:
Geelong and Warrnambool
Ballarat, Maryborough and Ararat
Bendigo, Swan Hill and Echuca
Seymour, Shepparton and Albury
Traralgon, Sale and Bairnsdale.
We also run coach services that connect with trains and serve regional Victorian communities where trains don't operate. Some coach services also travel to South Australia, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
