Coaches replace trains on the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough lines

Ballarat line
Due to V/Line annual maintenance and infrastructure works, coaches will replace trains for part of the journey on the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough lines from Tuesday 18 November to Friday 28 November.
Coaches will replace all trains between Bacchus Marsh, Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough. Trains will run between Southern Cross and Bacchus Marsh.
Some coaches will depart earlier than usual train times.

Ballarat Station changes - myki facilities unavailable
From 7pm Friday 21 November until 6am Monday 24 November, myki facilities will be unavailable and the ticket office will be closed.
Passengers will not be able to purchase, top-up, or touch on/off at Ballarat Station.
I am travelling to/from Ballarat Station. How can I use my myki card?
Passengers should touch on/off their myki when transferring between coach and train at Bacchus Marsh Station.
Passengers travelling one stop between Ballarat and Wendouree or Ballan should speak with station staff for support.
How can I top-up or purchase my myki?
New myki card purchases, or balance top ups can be made at transport.vic.gov.au/myki, neighbouring stations, or the nearest retail outlets.
Passengers can purchase a long distance ticket online at vline.com.au or by calling 1800 800 007.
All train services will be replaced by a mix of express and stopping all stations coach services, for more information, please see a V/Line staff member.

General Information
• There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
• No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
• Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
• In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
