A bigger and more modern
Melton Station opened on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
Works will continue on the station precinct until early 2027, including on the northern forecourt, air-conditioned waiting room, toilet facilities, bus interchange, landscaping and car parks.
From
Thursday 24 September until late 2026, there will be changes to car parks. Please follow detour signage or the direction of traffic controllers as you move through the area.
From
Monday 5 October, the temporary ticket office will close. The new ticket office will open in late 2026.
Passengers at Melton Station can:
- use myki
- use tap and go contactless payments
- visit the V/Line website or visit your nearest staffed station to purchase a long-distant ticket.
