Getting there

Closest station/stop

The journey to Lakes Entrance takes approximately four and a half hours from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station. Board a Gippsland line train to Bairnsdale Station. A V/Line bus service bound for Lakes Entrance or Lakes Tyers Beach will then take you from Bairnsdale to Lakes Entrance. The trip from Bairnsdale to Lakes Entrance takes approximately 45 minutes.

Tip: Travelling on V/Line during off-peak times is more convenient and cheaper!
