Bendigo Joss House Temple (Dai Gum San)

The Bendigo Joss House Temple, a Chinese place of worship, was constructed in the 1860s. Originally part of the Ironbark Chinese Camp, it is one of the remaining original buildings of its type in Australia.

Catch a Bendigo line train from Melbourne's Southern Cross Station. Joss House is located in Finn Street, North Bendigo.

To get there from Bendigo Station, walk for 10-15 minutes to Alexandra Fountain on Pall Mall, and from there catch the Talking Tram to Finn Street, North Bendigo. Please note your V/Line ticket does not include the fare for the Talking Tram.

Your V/Line ticket is valid for travel of Bendigo's town buses at no extra cost.Tip: Travelling on V/Line during off-peak times is more convenient and cheaper!
