Shepparton

Situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, Shepparton has been dubbed the ‘food bowl of Victoria,’ producing food and wine of international reputation.

Create your own gourmet feast of local produce from the many bakeries and delis and roll out a picnic blanket to enjoy the picturesque view of Victoria Park Lake.

The lake is surrounded by a walking track offering visitors the chance to explore the beautiful gardens and the Shepparton Flora and Fauna Reserve.

Visit the Shepparton Heritage Centre which contains thousands of items tracing Shepparton's history. Housed in the old Forester's Hall, you can also wander around the surrounding parkland and see the old farming equipment on display.

A short bus ride away, the SPC Ardmona Kids Town Adventure Playground will offer hours of entertainment for the little ones. Shepparton also has a mix of boutique shops and major chains to appeal to the most discerning shopper.

In March, the SheppARTon Festival celebrates the best of local and surrounding artists including competitions relating to photography, film, sculpture and other mediums.
