The Children’s Play Park is also located along this trail.

During the colder months, Woodend comes to life with the annual Woodend Winter Arts Festival, which celebrates a huge range of artistic mediums, from writing to performance.

From Melbourne's Southern Cross Station board a Bendigo line train to Woodend. Woodend is just over an hour from Melbourne by train.

V/Line also offers bus services linking Woodend with other towns around Victoria.

Tip: Travelling on V/Line during off-peak times is more convenient and cheaper!
