If you’re interested in a romantic weekend away, the brewery also offers stylish accommodation with 10 contemporary rooms and great views of Woodend.

As you stroll through the town, make sure you stop at Acres Wild Nursery and Black Anther Gallery (formerly Colenso Gallery) to view its latest exhibition. Just off the main street, the gallery has an emphasis on the natural environment of the Macedon Ranges.

After you have finished perusing the art you can stop for a meal in Café Colenso, with French and Mediterranean cuisine. For a romantic meal for two, visit the renowned Bourkies Bakehouse and acclaimed café, The Village Larder. Located on High Street, The Village Larder offers a cozy atmosphere and ‘retro comfort food’ including ricotta and raspberry hotcakes, corned beef hash with poached eggs and honey roasted seed and oat granola.

Before your stay in Woodend comes to an end, take in the beautiful natural surrounds of the area with the Five Mile Creek Walk.
