Line suspension - Bendigo line

UPDATE: 11:00

Coaches are replacing trains between Southern Cross and Sunbury due to vandalism near Sunshine.

Passengers can board replacement coaches between Southern Cross and Sunbury with trains continuing to operate between Sunbury and Bendigo to complete their journey.

Service alterations:

To Southern Cross:

• The 07:25 Echuca - Southern Cross service will end early at Sunbury and no longer run to Southern Cross
• The 09:49 Bendigo - Southern Cross service will end early at Sunbury and no longer run to Southern Cross
• The 06:52 Swan Hill - Southern Cross service will end early at Kyneton and no longer run to Southern Cross

From Southern Cross:

• The 10:02 Southern Cross - Bendigo service will originate at Sunbury at 10:35 and not Southern Cross
• The 11:02 Southern Cross - Bendigo service will originate at Sunbury at 11:35 and not Southern Cross

We are assessing the situation and will advise when trains will resume.

General information

• In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

• No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

• There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
