Line suspension - Gippsland line

Coaches are replacing trains between Traralgon and Morwell due to an incident requiring emergency services between Traralgon and Morwell.

Passengers are advised due to limited alternative transport availability, extended travel times are anticipated. We are sorry for the delay to your journey this morning.

Passengers travelling between Morwell and Traralgon are advised to board replacement coaches to complete their journey. We anticipate coaches to be in operation until further notice with an extended journey time of up to 60 minutes.

The follow services have been altered:
To Southern Cross:
The 04:34 Traralgon - Southern Cross service will end early at Morwell.
The 05:21 Traralgon - Southern Cross service will not run today.
The 05:42 Traralgon - Flinders Street service will not run today.
The 06:35 Traralgon - Southern Cross service will not run today.
The 07:14 Traralgon - Southern Cross service will not run today.
The 08:01 Morwell - Southern Cross service is an additional service that will run today.
The 08:33 Traralgon - Southern Cross service will originate at Morwell at 08:41.
The 09:13 Traralgon - Southern Cross service will originate at Morwell at 09:21.

From Southern Cross:
The 05:40 Southern Cross - Traralgon service will end early at Morwell.
The 06:20 Southern Cross - Traralgon service will end early at Morwell.
The 07:00 Southern Cross - Traralgon service will end early at Morwell.
The 08:26 Flinders Street - Traralgon service will originate at Southern Cross at 08:22.

We are assessing the situation and will advise when trains will resume.

General information

In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
No pets allowed on replacement coaches.
There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
