Major Delay - Geelong/ Bendigo/ Ballarat Lines

Geelong/Ballarat/ Bendigo Lines: 

Services have resumed with residual delays of 70 minutes, following an earlier fire brigade request near Sunshine. 

Passenger journey plan: Passengers can board the next departing services to complete their journey. 

Service alterations: 
To Southern Cross: 
The 15:15 Echuca - Southern Cross service is delayed 55 minutes.
The 16:40 Wendouree - Southern Cross service is delayed 52 minutes.
The 15:13 Warrnambool - Southern Cross service is delayed 46 minutes.
The 17:25 South Geelong - Southern Cross service is delayed 42 minutes.
The 17:35 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service is delayed 38 minutes.
The 18:03 South Geelong - Southern Cross service is delayed 22 minutes.
The 17:26 Wendouree - Southern Cross service is delayed 19 minutes.
The 19:15 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will originate from Geelong at 19:30 and not Waurn Ponds. 
The 19:28 Wendouree - Southern Cross service will originate from Ballarat at 19:35 and not Wendouree.
The 19:38 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will originate at Geelong at 19:53 and not Waurn Ponds. 

From Southern Cross:
The 17:49 Southern Cross - Bendigo service is delayed 62 minutes.
The 17:45 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service will end early at Geelong and no longer run to Waurn Ponds. 
The 17:42 Southern Cross - Bacchus Marsh service is held at Footscray.
The 17:32 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service is delayed 62 minutes.
The 17:38 Southern Cross - Wendouree service will end early at Ballarat and no longer run to Wendouree.
The 17:35 Southern Cross - Wyndham Vale service is delayed 64 minutes.
The 17:42 Southern Cross - Bacchus Marsh service is delayed 63 minutes.
The 17:58 Southern Cross - Wendouree service is delayed 54 minutes.
The 17:53 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service is delayed 59 minutes.
The 18:05 Southern Cross - Melton service is delayed 51 minutes.
The 18:08 Southern Cross - Swan Hill service is delayed 49 minutes.
The 18:02 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service is delayed 62 minutes.
The 18:18 Southern Cross - Ararat service is delayed 44 minutes.
The 18:25 Southern Cross - Bacchus Marsh service is delayed 44 minutes.
The 18:02 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service will end early at Geelong and no longer run to Waurn Ponds.

General information

  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  • No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

  • Customers needing special assistance please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
