Major Delay - Geelong/ Ballarat/ Bendigo Lines 

UPDATE: 20:03

Services have resumed from Southern Cross following an earlier emergency services request at Sunshine.

Passengers can board the next departing services to complete their journey. 

Service alterations: 
From Southern Cross: 

The 16:42 Southern Cross - Bacchus Marsh service is delayed 86 minutes. 
The 16:46 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service will end early at Sunshine and no longer run to Waurn Ponds. 
The 16:52 Southern Cross - Eaglehawk service is delayed 69 minutes.
The 16:54 Southern Cross - Wyndham Vale service is delayed on departure.
The 16:58 Southern Cross - Ararat service will end early at Sunshine. 
The 17:01 Southern Cross - Melton service will not run today. 
The 17:04 Southern Cross - Kyneton service is delayed 80 minutes
The 17:09 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service is delayed 60 minutes and will stops all stations to Waurn Ponds.
The 17:12 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service will not run today. 
The 17:15 Southern Cross - Wyndham Vale service is delayed 83 minutes. 
The 17:18 Southern Cross - Wendouree service will not run today.
The 17:21 Southern Cross - Bacchus Marsh service is delayed 67 minutes.
The 17:26 Southern Cross - Epsom service will end early at Bendigo. Passengers can speak to station staff for alternative arrangements between Bendigo and Epsom to complete their journey. 
The 17:42 Southern Cross - Bacchus Marsh service is delayed 50 minutes.
The 18:02 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds will end early at Geelong. 
The 18:08 Southern Cross - Swan Hill service is delayed 40 minutes. 

To Southern Cross: 
The 16:10 South Geelong - Southern Cross service is delayed 91 minutes. 
The 16:21 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service is delayed 82 minutes. 
The 16:31 Melton - Southern Cross service is delayed 94 minutes. 
The 16:41 Bacchus Marsh - Southern Cross service is delayed 95 minutes. 
The 16:48 South Geelong - Southern Cross service is delayed 67 minutes. 
The 16:58 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service is delayed 55 minutes. 
The 17:03 Melton - Southern Cross service is delayed 83 minutes. 
The 17:23 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service is delayed 53 minutes.
The 17:25 South Geelong - Southern Cross service is delayed 61 minutes. 
The 17:35 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service is delayed 50 minutes. 
The 17:38 Bacchus Marsh - Southern Cross service is delayed 46 minutes. 
The 18:03 South Geelong - Southern Cross service is delayed 31 minutes. 
The 19:38 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will originate from Geelong at 19:53. 
The 19:55 Epsom - Southern Cross service will originate from Bendigo at 20:14. Passengers can speak to station staff for alternative arrangements between Epsom and Bendigo to complete their journey.

  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  • No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

  • Customers needing special assistance please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
