Major Delay - Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo Lines

UPDATE: 14:50

Services have resumed following an earlier safety incident at Sunshine with delays of up to 60 minutes.

The following services have been altered:

Service Aletrations: 
From Southern Cross: 

The 14:16 Southern Cross - Melton service will not run today
The 13:16 Southern Cross - Wendouree service is delayed 56 minutes.
The 13:30 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service is delayed 46 minutes.
The 13:36 Southern Cross - Melton service is delayed 43 minutes.
The 13:50 Southern Cross - South Geelong service will not run today
The 13:56 Southern Cross - Wendouree service is delayed 27 minutes.
The 14:02 Southern Cross - Bendigo service is delayed 19 minutes.    
The 14:10 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service is delayed 19 minutes.
The 13:30 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service will end early at Geelong

To Southern Cross:
The 15:10 Melton - Southern Cross service will not run today       
The 15:30 South Geelong - Southern Cross service will not run today
The 15:01 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will originate at Geelong 15:15

General information

  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  • No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

  • Customers needing special assistance please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
