Major delay - Geelong line

UPDATE: 07:35

Services are currently delayed due to a rail equipment fault between Geelong and Waurn Ponds.

Passengers can also board the next departing services to complete their journey. 

The following services have been altered:
From Southern Cross: 
The 04:46 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service will end early at Geelong.

To Southern Cross: 
The 05:37 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service has been reinstated and is delayed 65 minutes. 
The 06:10 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will not run today. 
The 06:19 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will originate Geelong at 06:33 today. This service is delayed 28 minutes. 
The 06:27 Warrnambool - Southern Cross service will run as scheduled.
The 06:28 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will originate Geelong at 06:43 today. 
The 06:40 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service has been reinstated and will run as scheduled.     
The 06:56 Marshall - Southern Cross service will originate at Geelong at 07:06.
The 07:21 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will make additional stops at Corio at 07:43 and Tarneit at 08:08 today.
The 08:15 Wyndham Vale - Southern Cross service will run at a reduced capacity of 6 VLocity carriages.

General information

  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  • No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

  • Customers needing special assistance please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
