Major Delay - All Lines

UPDATE: 00:32

Services have resumed following an earlier equipment fault with delays of up to 70 minutes.

The following services have been altered.

From Southern Cross:
The 21:15 Southern Cross - Ararat service is delayed 52 minutes
The 21:51 Southern Cross - Bendigo service is delayed 50 minutes
The 22:16 Southern Cross - Wendouree service is delayed 65 minutes and will end early at Ballarat
Passengers can speak to station staff for alternate travel arrangements to complete their journey.

The 22:51 Southern Cross - Bendigo service is delayed 29 minutes.
The 23:16 Southern Cross - Wendouree service is delayed 53 minutes
The 23:51 Southern Cross - Bendigo service is delayed 10 minutes.
The 23:25 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service is delayed 50 minutes
The 23:59 Southern Cross - Traralgon service is delayed 7 minutes

To Southern Cross:
The 21:14 Bendigo - Southern Cross service will end early at Footscray
The 22:01 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will end early at Sunshine
The 21:11 Traralgon - Southern Cross service will end early at Flinders Street.
Passengers can board the next departing Metro Trains service to complete your journey.

We are sorry for the delay to your journey and appreciate your patience this evening.

General information

  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  • No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

  • Customers needing special assistance please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
