Seymour Station underpass works

Tuesday 28 April to Monday 11 May 

V/Line crews will carry out round the clock maintenance and improvement works on the 
pedestrian underpass at Seymour Station.

The underpass will be closed to pedestrians from Tuesday 28 April until Monday 11 May. 
Detours will be in place via Anzac Avenue and Seymour Station can be accessed via the 
pedestrian ramp on Dowling Street.

Please note that these works will be carried out while coaches are replacing trains along the 
Seymour Line between Southern Cross and Seymour due to V/Line and Inland Rail works. 

What to expect

There will be regular movement of heavy machinery and a high level of construction noise 
during the day and night as well as additional lighting and dust in the area.
