You can get up close and personal to some of Australia's most famous native animals including Kangaroos, Koalas, a variety of reptiles ranging from Snakes to Lizards and even giant Tortoises. See a 3.5 metre long Anaconda. Tasmanian Devils, Victoria's only Komodo dragon, Wombats and and Crunch our 660kg, 5 metre Super Croc!

Enjoy hand feeding our 100 free roaming Kangaroos. Join the free guided tour and shows with our keepers and you will also get the chance to pat our Wombats, Koalas and see our ferocious Tasmanian Devils at feeding time.

Ask our friendly staff about our 'animal encounters', which includes close contact with your chosen animal and a professional photograph as a memento of the occasion. Our VIP tours are also a great way to experience the Park and are tailored to your needs.

Closest station/stop

Trains from Melbourne's Southern Cross Station to Ballarat run frequently and the trip takes just over an hour. When you get to Ballarat Station, take bus route 20 (in the direction of Canadian) to Fussell Street - check the PTV website (remember - the cost of the bus is included in your V/Line fare - just show your V/Line ticket as you board)

From Sovereign Hill: If you're coming from Sovereign Hill you can catch bus route 21 to Ballarat Station, then change to the route 20 bus (in the direction of Canadian) to Fussell Street - check the PTV website.

Your V/Line ticket is valid for travel on Ballarat local buses at no extra cost.

Tip: Travelling during off-peak times is cheaper and more convenient!
