Located along the Great Ocean Road and with the Otway National Park providing a picturesque backdrop, the town of Aireys Inlet boasts breathtaking natural features alongside an active music, arts and foodie scene.
Every second Sunday during the warmer months between spring and Easter, The Community Hall hosts the Aireys Inlet Community Market, selling fresh produce and a range of local art and craft.
A must-see for visitors is the Split Point Lighthouse. Known affectionately to locals as “The White Lady”, the Lighthouse is more than 100 years old and has featured in numerous Australian television shows and films, including Mad Max (1979) and Round the Twist (1989-2001).
The journey to Aireys Inlet takes over 2 hours from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station. You can catch a V/Line train to Geelong Station, where a bus connects to Aireys Inlet.
