Port Fairy

Located on the stunning Moyne River and Great Ocean Road, Port Fairy is a popular holiday destination with a rich history.

The coastline running alongside Port Fairy is known as the “Shipwreck Coast”. A name that refers to the sad fate of many ships during the 1800’s as a result of the rocky coastline. The information centre located in Port Fairy is run by friendly locals who will happily provide you with a map detailing the location of the shipwrecks nearby.

Port Fairy is also home to one of Victoria's largest folk music festivals, Port Fairy Folk Festival. An annual event held in March, featuring both local and international acts to get toes tapping!
