Come aboard the historic century old Rubeena, a classic wooden boat that seats up to 30 people, the Rubeena has had its engine converted to a rechargeable electric system.

This unique propulsion system allows you to enjoy the peace and sounds of the native birdlife, as you cruise from the Port of Sale, down the Sale Canal, the Thomson River and the Latrobe River to the oldest operating Swing Bridge in Australia.

Enjoy the expert onboard commentary as significant local historical sites are discussed. The Rubeena is an all-weather boat which can be enjoyed during rain or sun all year round.

Port of Sale Heritage Cruise is located on Desailly Street, Sale, VIC 3850.

From Southern Cross Station, take the Traralgon line to Sale Station.

From there, simply catch the town bus to The Gippsland Centre and walk a short 700m down Desailly Street to the Port of Sale.
