Planned Service Change

Coaches replace some evening trains on the Seymour and Shepparton lines

Seymour line
Due to track maintenance works, coaches replace some evening Seymour and Shepparton Line trains from Tuesday 6 October to Thursday 15 October.
 
Weekdays - Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 October and Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October

Coaches replace the 9.36pm train from Southern Cross to Seymour and Shepparton.


Weekend - Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October

Coaches replace the 9.37pm train from Southern Cross to Seymour and Shepparton.

Please note - the 10.37pm and 11.37pm Southern Cross to Seymour trains will run as scheduled.


Replacement coaches will be a mix of express and stopping all stations services. Coaches will not stop at Essendon Station.

Please allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.

Thank you for your patience during this time.


General Information  
•    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
•    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
•    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
•    In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
•    Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
