Planned Service Change

Service changes on the Ararat Line

Due to Melton Level Crossing Removal works, there will be service changes on the Ararat Line from Thursday 23 July to Sunday 26 July.
 
A temporary timetable will be in place.
 
Passengers travelling to and from Southern Cross:
 
Coaches will run express between Ararat and Southern Cross, stopping also at Beaufort.
 
 
 Passengers travelling to Ballarat Line stations:
 
Trains will run between Maryborough and Bacchus Marsh.
 
Buses will run between Bacchus Marsh and Caroline Springs.
 
Trains will run between Caroline Springs and Southern Cross.
 

 
Bikes are not allowed on replacement buses between Bacchus Marsh and Caroline Springs.
 
Please allow additional time for your journey.

General Information
•    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
•    Bikes are not allowed on bus replacement services.
•    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement buses.
•    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
•    Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
