Coaches replace some Swan Hill Line trains for part of the journey

3 Aug - 5 Aug 2026

Due to maintenance works, coaches replace some Swan Hill Line trains between Swan Hill and Bendigo from Monday 3 August to Wednesday 5 August.

From Southern Cross Station:
The 7.38am service to Swan Hill will run as a train to Bendigo, then coaches to Swan Hill.

From Swan Hill:
The 1.36pm service to Southern Cross will be replaced by coaches from Swan Hill to Bendigo. The train will run from Bendigo to Southern Cross.

Coaches will depart stations at or soon after scheduled train times.

Passengers with accessibility needs are advised to call 1800 800 007 before travelling so we can provide the best possible service for your journey.

General Information
• There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
• No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
• Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
• In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
