Coaches replace Bendigo and Echuca lines trains for all or part of the journey

Bendigo line
Due to Metro maintenance and renewal works, coaches replace Bendigo and Echuca line trains for all or part of the journey from Friday night 14 August until last service Sunday 16 August.

Friday 14 August

From Southern Cross Station:
From 8.30pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Bendigo, Epsom and Eaglehawk.
 
From Bendigo:
From 7pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Southern Cross.

From Epsom:
The 6.56pm and 7.55pm Epsom to Southern Cross services will run as a train to Bendigo, then coaches from Bendigo to Southern Cross.

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August

Coaches replace all trains between Southern Cross and Gisborne. Trains will run between Gisborne, Bendigo and Echuca.



Coaches will depart Southern Cross Station up to 40 minutes earlier than usual time and be a mix of express and stopping all stations.

Swan Hill Line trains will be replaced between Bendigo and Southern Cross on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August.

Passengers with accessibility needs are advised to call 1800 800 007 before travelling so we can provide the best possible service for your journey.

General Information
•    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
•    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
•    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
•    In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
•    Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
