Coaches replace Warrnambool Line trains for part of the journey

Coaches replace trains on part of the Warrnambool Line until Monday 4 May and from Friday 8 May to Tuesday 12 May, while works are completed on a stabling facility at Warrnambool Station. 

Until Monday 4 May and Friday 8 May to Tuesday 12 May

Coaches replace trains between Warrnambool and Waurn Ponds. Trains will run between Waurn Ponds and Southern Cross.

Coaches will depart from Warrnambool Line stations up to 30 minutes earlier than usual train times.


Trains will run from Tuesday 5 May to Thursday 7 May 
 
Warrnambool trains will resume running between Warrnambool and Waurn Ponds from Tuesday 5 May to Thursday 7 May.

This is to support passengers travelling to the Warrnambool Racing Carnival.

Trains to the city will depart stations 5 minutes earlier than usual time.

Passengers are advised to check the temporary timetables before travelling:
 

  • View the temporary timetable - 25 April to 4 May 
  • View the temporary train timetable - 5 to 7 May
  • View the temporary timetable - 8 to 12 May 

Passengers with accessibility needs are advised to call 1800 800 007 before travelling so we can provide the best possible service for your journey.

Please allow extra travel time for your journey.

General Information  
  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services
  • No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches
  • Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare
  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street
  • Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling
