Planned Service Change

Service changes on the Seymour Line

There will be service changes on the Seymour Line from Friday 31 October to Tuesday 9 December.
 
This is due to signalling works being completed as part of the Shepparton Line Upgrade as well as temporary speed restrictions in place following recent track upgrades.
 
Temporary timetables will be available to view soon or you can plan your journey using the V/Line journey planner.


Friday 31 October and  Saturday 1 November

Coaches will replace trains between Southern Cross and Seymour.
 
 
Sunday 2 November to Saturday 15 November
 
Trains to the city will depart early
All Seymour Line trains to the city will depart 3 minutes earlier from Seymour, Tallarook, Broadford, Kilmore East, Wandong, Heathcote Junction and Wallan stations.
 
 
 
Sunday 16 November to Tuesday 9 December
 
Coaches will replace trains between Southern Cross and Seymour.
 
 
 

Coach replacement services will not stop at Essendon Station.
 
Coach replacement services will be a mix of express, semi-express and stopping all stations.

Please allow an additional 75 minutes for your journey.



General Information
  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
  • No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
  • Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
  • Customers with accessibility needs, please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
