Disruptions on the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough lines

Ballarat line
Due to Melton Level Crossing Removal works, there will be service changes between Bacchus March and Southern Cross stations. Trains will run between Ballarat, Ararat, Maryborough and Bacchus Marsh.
 
On Sunday night 12 October, coaches will replace trains for the entire journey between Southern Cross and Wendouree. A temporary timetable will be available soon.
 
Saturday 11 October and Sunday 12 October
 
Travel advice for passengers at Bacchus Marsh, Ballan, Ballarat, Wendouree, Beaufort, Ararat, Creswick, Clunes, Talbot, Maryborough stations
 
To Southern Cross
Catch an express coach between Bacchus Marsh and Southern Cross.
 
To stations between Melton and Sunshine
Catch a stopping all stations bus (except Cobblebank) between Bacchus Marsh and Sunshine.
 
To Cobblebank Station
Catch a bus to Melton, then change to the shuttle bus running between Melton and Cobblebank.
 
To Footscray
First catch a coach to Southern Cross, then a Metro train to Footscray.

To Footscray or Southern Cross
Catch a shuttle bus between Cobblebank, Melton and Watergardens, then a Sunbury Line Metro train between Watergardens and Southern Cross.
 
To stations between Bacchus Marsh and Sunshine
From Melton Station - catch a replacement bus.
 
From Cobblebank Station – catch a shuttle bus to Melton, then catch a replacement bus.
 
To Ballarat, Ararat or Maryborough
From Melton Station - catch a replacement bus to Bacchus Marsh, then a V/Line train.
 
From Cobblebank Station – catch a shuttle bus to Melton, then a replacement bus to Bacchus Marsh, then a V/Line train.
 
Travel advice for passengers at Rockbank, Caroline Springs, Deer Park and Ardeer stations
 
To Footscray or Southern Cross
Catch a bus to Sunshine, then a Sunbury Line Metro train to Southern Cross.
 
To Melton or Bacchus Marsh
Catch a replacement bus.
 
To Ballarat, Ararat or Maryborough
Catch a bus to Bacchus Marsh, then a V/Line train.
 
Please allow additional time for your journey.
 
A temporary coach replacement timetable will be in place.

General Information
•    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
•    Bikes are not allowed on low-floor bus replacement services.
•    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
•    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
•    In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
•    Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
