Service changes on the Seymour and Shepparton lines

Seymour line
Due to Inland Rail completing maintenance works, there are service changes on the Seymour and Shepparton lines from Sunday night 27 July to Wednesday 30 July.

Sunday 27 July

From Southern Cross Station:
The 9.45pm Southern Cross to Seymour service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.
 
From Seymour:
The 8.27pm Seymour to Southern Cross service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.

Monday 28 July

Coaches replace all Seymour and Shepparton Line trains between Southern Cross, Seymour and Shepparton.

A temporary coach replacement timetable will be available shortly.

Coaches replace Albury Line trains for the entire journey on Monday 28 July. More information available here.

Tuesday 29 July and Wednesday 30 July

From Southern Cross Station:
The 9.43pm Southern Cross to Seymour service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.
 
From Seymour:
The 9.56pm Seymour to Southern Cross service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.

Replacement coaches will be a mix of express and stopping all stations services. Coaches will not stop at Essendon Station.
 
Please allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.

General Information  
  • •    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
    •    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
    •    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
    •    In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.
    •    Customers with accessibility needs please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
