Due to Metro Tunnel Project works, buses replace trains on the Geelong Line for part of the journey on
Saturday 5 July and Sunday 6 July.
V/Line maintenance night works will also take place from Sunday 6 July to Tuesday 8 July.
A temporary timetable will be in place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July.

Buses replace trains between Southern Cross and Sunshine. Trains will run between Sunshine and Waurn Ponds.
Footscray passengers
A limited number of V/Line replacement services will stop at Footscray Station - please check the temporary timetable for arrival/departure times.
Passengers can also catch a Metro bus replacement between Footscray and Sunshine.

From 8.30pm – coaches replace trains from Southern Cross to Waurn Ponds for the entire journey.

From 10.00pm – coaches will replace trains from Southern Cross to Waurn Ponds for the entire journey.
Travelling with bikes:
Bikes are
not allowed on replacement buses running between Sunshine and Southern Cross.
Extra travel time:
Passengers should allow extra time for the journey as there may be delays when transferring between the train and bus replacement services.
Please check the temporary timetable before you travel.
Please note – there will also be disruptions on the Ballarat and Bendigo lines as well as the Sunbury, Werribee and Williamstown lines.

- No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches
- Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare
- In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street
