Line suspension - Geelong line

UPDATE: 16:55

Coaches are replacing trains between Marshall and Waurn Ponds due to a fire brigade between Marshall and Waurn Ponds.

Passengers are advised to board replacement coaches between Waurn Ponds and Marshall with trains continuing to operate between Marshall and Southern Cross. 

Service Alterations: 
From Southern Cross: 

The 15:29 Southern Cross - Waurn Ponds service will end early at Marshall. 

To Southern Cross: 
The 16:58 Waurn Ponds - Southern Cross service will originate at Marshall at 17:05. 

We are assessing the situation and will advise when trains will resume.

General information

  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  • No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

  • Customers needing special assistance please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
