Line suspension - Bendigo line

UPDATE: 11:44

Services have resumed following an earlier rail equipment fault with anticipated further delays expected.

First service through will be:
From Southern Cross: 
The 12:06 Southern Cross - Bendigo service.

The following services have been altered:
From Southern Cross: 
The 07:01 Southern Cross - Bendigo service will end early at Gisborne and will no longer run to Bendigo.
The 07:40 Southern Cross - Swan Hill service will end early at Sunbury and no longer run to Swan Hill. 
Passenger journey plan: Passengers travelling beyond Sunbury can board replacement coaches between Sunbury and Swan Hill to complete their journey. 
The 09:05 Southern Cross - Echuca service will originate from Bendigo and not from Southern Cross. 
The 10:06 Southern Cross - Bendigo service will not run today. 
The 11:06 Southern Cross - Bendigo service will originate from Kyneton and not from Southern Cross.

To Southern Cross: 
The 07:28 Bendigo - Southern Cross service will originate at Gisborne at 08:30 and not from Bendigo. 
The 07:22 Echuca - Southern Cross service will end early at Bendigo and will no longer run to Southern Cross. 
The 06:54 Swan Hill - Southern Cross service will end early at Kyneton and will no longer run to Southern Cross. 
The 09:44 Bendigo - Southern Cross service will not run today. 
The 11:26 Bendigo - Southern Cross service will end early at Kyneton and will no longer run to Southern Cross.

General information

  • In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  • No pets allowed on replacement coaches.

  • There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.

  • Customers needing special assistance please call 1800 800 007 before travelling.
