Wednesday 24 May
From Southern Cross Station:
From 8pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Traralgon for the entire journey.
From Traralgon:
From 6.30pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.
From Bairnsdale:
The 6.06pm service will run as a train to Traralgon, then coaches from Traralgon to Southern Cross.
Thursday 25 May
Coaches will replace trains between Southern Cross, Traralgon, and Bairnsdale for the entire journey. Please allow extra time for your journey.

Replacement coaches
will not stop at Flinders Street, Richmond, Caulfield, Clayton, Dandenong and Berwick stations.
Passengers who normally travel to and from these stations are advised to do the following:
Travelling from Flinders Street or Richmond to Gippsland
- Catch a Metro Trains service to Southern Cross Station, then a V/Line coach replacement to Gippsland.
Travelling from Caulfield, Clayton, Dandenong or Berwick to Gippsland
- Catch a Metro Trains service to Pakenham Station, then a V/Line coach replacement to Gippsland.
Travelling to metropolitan stations from Gippsland
- If travelling to Berwick, Dandenong, Clayton or Caulfield, disembark at Pakenham, then catch a Metro Trains service.
- If travelling to Flinders Street Station or Richmond, catch a V/Line coach to Southern Cross Station, then a Metro Trains service.
Please note – buses replace trains on sections of the Pakenham Line during this time - please check the PTV website before you travel.
Friday 26 to Tuesday 30 May
Coaches will replace trains between Southern Cross and Pakenham. Trains will run between Pakenham, Traralgon, and Bairnsdale.
Please note -
- On Friday 26 May, the 6.53pm Traralgon to Southern Cross service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.
- On Sunday 28 May, the 9.27pm Southern Cross to Traralgon service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.
- On Monday 29 May, the 6.53pm Traralgon to Southern Cross service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.
- On Tuesday 30 May, the 6.53pm Traralgon to Southern Cross service will be replaced by coaches for the entire journey.
Coaches will depart up to 10 minutes earlier than usual train times to be able to meet with connecting trains at Pakenham.

Wednesday 31 May
From Southern Cross Station:
From 8pm to last service – coaches will replace trains from Southern Cross to Pakenham. Trains will run from Pakenham to Traralgon.
From Traralgon:
From 6.30pm to last service – coaches will replace trains from Traralgon to Southern Cross for the entire journey.
From Bairnsdale:
The 6.06pm service will run as a train to Pakenham, then coaches from Pakenham to Southern Cross.
Coaches will not stop at Flinders Street (after 7pm), Richmond, or Clayton Stations.
Please allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.

General Information:
- There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
- No pets or hot food allowed on replacement coaches.
- Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
- The Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street;
- Flinders Street Station on Flinders Street opposite Degraves Street.
- Coaches will not stop at Clayton Station. Customers should take a Metro service to and from Dandenong.
- Coaches will not stop at Richmond Station. Customers should take a Metro service to and from Southern Cross Station or Caulfield.
