Coaches replace trains on the Gippsland Line
Due to Victoria’s Big Build works, coaches replace Gippsland line trains for all or part of the journey from Saturday 14 May to Thursday 19 May.
Saturday 14 May
From Southern Cross Station:
From 9pm to last service – coaches will replace trains to Traralgon for the entire journey.
From Traralgon:
From 8pm to last service – coaches will replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.
Sunday 15 May
Coaches will replace trains between Southern Cross and Traralgon/Bairnsdale for the entire journey from first to last service.
Monday 16 May to Thursday 19 May
From Southern Cross Station:
From 9.30pm to last service – coaches will replace trains between Southern Cross and Pakenham.
From Traralgon:
The 8.22pm service will run as a train from Traralgon to Pakenham, then coaches will replace trains from Pakenham to Southern Cross.
From Bairnsdale:
The 6.06pm service will run as a train from Bairnsdale to Pakenham, the coaches will replace trains from Pakenham to Southern Cross.
Coaches will not stop at Flinders St (after 7pm), Richmond, or Clayton Stations.
Please allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.

General Information
• There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
• No pets or hot food allowed on replacement coaches.
• Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
• In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from:
• The Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street;
• Flinders Street Station on Flinders Street opposite Degraves Street.
• Coaches will not stop at Clayton Station. Customers should take a Metro service to and from Dandenong.
• Coaches will not stop at Richmond Station. Customers should take a Metro service to and from Southern Cross Station or Caulfield.
