Track maintenance works in Elphinstone & Chewton

Bendigo line

V/Line is carrying out ballast renewal works from Friday 20 February to Thursday 12 March at the following locations:

Urquhart Street level crossing, Elphinstone
White Gum Track level crossing, Chewton

Works will take place each day between 7am and 6pm.

Night works will be completed when crews work around the clock the on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 March.

Crews will use land adjacent to Urquhart Street level crossing as the laydown area.

Due to the nature of these works, there will be constructions noise, additional lighting and dust present at times.
