Additional Bendigo service after footy

AFL Round 1 kicks off at the MCG with a game on Friday 17 March.

An altered Bendigo Line train service will be in place to help get you home after the game.

Passengers travelling on the Bendigo Line after the footy can catch the following train from Southern Cross Station:

Friday 17 March – Geelong v Collingwood

The 10.57pm service will now depart at 11.12pm, arriving at Bendigo at 1.16am (stopping all stations except Watergardens)

Additional Round 1 information:

Please note, on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March, coaches replace trains on the Bendigo, Echuca, and Swan Hill lines for part of the journey. The additional footy train on Friday 17 March will not be affected by this disruption. Please plan ahead and check the coach replacement timetable if you're planning on attending games on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March.
