Located beside the Yarra River in Southbank and open from 10am - 10pm daily, Eureka Skydeck is one of Melbourne's most spectacular tourist destinations and a top spot to take the family to during the school holidays. Located on the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower, the Skydeck is the highest public vantage point in the Southern Hemisphere. Here, there are plenty of ways to entertain the family, starting with the priceless 360 degree floor-to-ceiling views and FREE kids activities every day of the school holidays.

Bringing out the virtual daredevil in visitors, Eureka Skydeck's current green screen activation 'The Walk Experience' will be available to visitors throughout the school holiday period. This specially constructed green screen set allows guests to imagine what it's like to tightrope walk from one point of Eureka Tower to the other as they cross a simulated tightrope - suspended high above the city of Melbourne.

Visitors looking for a little more adventure can take to the world's only Edge experience; a 3m by 3m transparent glass cube which slides out from the building, literally suspending guests 285m above the ground.

Getting there

Closest station/stop
Melbourne, Southern Cross

Eureka is situated at Riverside Quay, Southbank.

V/Line has services to Melbourne from all over Victoria, taking you to Southern Cross Station, the city’s transport hub.

By train

Catch a metropolitan train from Southern Cross Station to Flinders Street Station and walk across the bridge to Southbank where the Eureka Tower is located at Riverside Quay.

On foot

Eureka Skydeck 88 is an easy walk from Southern Cross Station.

By tram

Catch tram 75 from Spencer Street to the corner of King Street and Flinders Street.

Tip: Travelling on V/Line during off-peak times is more convenient and cheaper!
