From Sunday 1 February, new train timetables will begin on the Geelong, Warrnambool, Ballarat, Ararat, Maryborough, Bendigo, Echuca, Swan Hill, Seymour, Shepparton, Traralgon and Bairnsdale lines. There will also be changes to some coach timetables that connect with trains.
These changes are part of the Big Switch network changes, where a new timetable with over 1,000 extra services will be introduced on the Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sunbury Line and all services will run exclusively through the Metro Tunnel.
There will be journey changes and new timetables across other metropolitan lines, with changes to some connections between metropolitan and regional trains.
