V/Line InformSet up a V/Line Inform account if you're a regular traveller with us, so we can let you know when things won't run according to schedule.
Let us know where and when you travel and, when there's a problem with your train, we'll do our best to let you know. We'll contact you via email and/or SMS - at no cost to you.
On-the-day disruptionsWe'll contact you to advise of a delay of more than 15 minutes, or your train is cancelled.
However, if you're already on the train, you'll be removed from the message distribution list, as your conductor will provide updates.
Planned disruptionsWhere we know about a disruption in advance, we'll put it on our website as soon as we know (see Disruption alerts).
We'll also send you a message via V/Line Inform 1-2 days in advance of the disruption.
