Where to buy ticketsAll passengers are required to hold a valid ticket when travelling on a V/Line service.
Buy onlineYou can buy tickets online and we'll post your tickets to you at no extra cost (assuming you buy far enough in advance).

We need at least 24 hours to process your purchase, and please allow enough time to collect your tickets if it's too late to post them out. You can't collect pre-paid tickets from conductors or bus drivers... they must be picked up at a V/Line ticket sales outlet before travel. Sorry, we don't have an e-ticket facility (why?)

V/Line ticket sales outletsMany of our larger stations are staffed. You can also buy at most Metro Trains premium stations in the metropolitan area, or through our network of accredited ticket agents.
