Travelling on long trips can be challenging for young children. The key to ensuring children enjoy the journey is to plan ahead. A few ideas to keep children entertained include:

Unaccompanied children
Children under 10-years-old cannot travel alone on any V/Line service. They must travel with a parent or guardian, except when travelling with other children to and from school.

Children 10-16 years of age
Children 10 to 16 years of age (inclusive) can travel unaccompanied on V/Line services, however the safety of unaccompanied children remains the sole responsibility of their parent or guardian.
