V/Line is a key part of regional Victoria and is a strong supporter of the towns and cities in which we live and work.
V/Line is committed to providing and maintaining a work environment that is as safe as possible for its employees, contractors, customers and the community.
V/Line conducts its business so as to comply with the Rail Safety Act, the Occupational Health & Safety Act, and other relevant statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the State in which rail maintenance operations are conducted. V/Line is required by law to take all necessary actions to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of all employees and visitors at the workplace.
Contractors working with V/Line are expected to comply with our policies and standards and to conduct their business dealings with V/Line in an ethical manner. This includes standards of personal behaviour, equal opportunity, harassment and bullying, theft, fraud, removal of property, environmental, security and privacy.
Contractor induction video
Please be aware that the Regional Rail Link Authority will manage the process for any workers on the Regional Rail Link Project and therefore you will not be issued with a V/Line Contractor Card.
All contractors are required to view our contractor induction video before commencing work, including exisiting contractors.
We need you to complete a registration form so we have a record of who has watched the video.
