A new V/Line timetable has started, with 80 new weekly train services across the network.
There are new services on the Maryborough, Shepparton, Warrnambool, Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong and Gippsland lines.
The new Caroline Springs Station has also officially opened, with 288 trains stopping at the station each week.
Included in the timetable is an extra Mayrborough return service weekday, and a Seymour service extended to Shepparton in the afternoon during the week.
A fourth train service will be introduced on the Warrnambool each weekday, and an extra return on Sundays.
Customers on the Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong and Gippsland lines will benefit from extra evening weekday services, giving you more choice about when you travel.
An additional train for Wyndham Vale and Tarneit customers will run each weekday morning, boosting services for customers in Melbourne's south west suburbs.
Trains will have altered stopping patterns to increase services to some stations, and some town bus and regional coach timetables will be adjusted to better connect with train services.
Some services will depart earlier or later so please check times before you travel to find a service that suits your needs.
Customers can use the Plan a Journey tool to plan their trip and book tickets on long distance services.
The new V/Line train and coach timetables are available here. Printed versions are available at staffed V/Line stations, premium Metro stations, PTV hubs and V/Line ticket agents.
