On weekday afternoons, an additional three-carriage train will depart Melbourne Southern Cross Station at 4:02pm, arriving in Bendigo at 5:55pm.
All weekday Bendigo trains service Kangaroo Flat Station and a number of trains are extended from Bendigo to Epsom and Eaglehawk.
Weekday services to and from Epsom have increased from four to 14 and services to and from Eaglehawk have increased from nine to 10.
Some trains also have altered departure and arrival times and stopping patterns.
