V/Line is reminding regional train and coach travellers that a new Western Victorian timetable starts this Sunday (14 June).

The new timetable is being introduced to include stops to the new Wendouree Station in Ballarat.

V/Line General Manager, Ursula McGinnes, said the majority of services remain unaffected.

“The new Western region timetable starts this Sunday to coincide with the opening of Ballarat’s second station at Wendouree,” Ms McGinnes said.

“It might only be a minor change, however, some services will depart earlier, later, or have different stopping patterns

“It’s important to get a copy of the new times, because a couple of minutes might be enough to miss your train.

“So download a copy of the new timetable at vline.com.au now, or pick up a copy from staffed V/Line stations from Friday 12 June onwards.”
