Walk the ancient city of Pompeii, dive down with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or get surreal with a cheap deal with V/Line this winter.
V/Line is teaming up with some of Melbourne’s best tourist attractions over winter to provide V/Line customers with some fabulously frugal outings for the whole family.
General Manager Stakeholder Relations, Ursula McGinnes, said the new “See Things Differently This Winter” campaign will run from Monday 15 June until 25 July, taking in the July school holidays.
“This campaign is about encouraging more people onto train services and passing on great savings to our customers,” Ms McGinnes said.
“Some of Melbourne’s hottest exhibitions are offering excellent discounts and all families need to do is abandon the car for the train and make it a day of it.
“Customers simply show their V/Line tickets at point of entry to receive between 10 and 20 per cent off admission.”

A day in Pompeii
Melbourne Museum

10am to 5pm daily. Until 9pm on Thursdays.
More than 250 objects from the buried City of Pompeii will be on display.
