V/Line is the perfect way to get to Warrnambool’s big day in May with the Grand Annual Race Train running to next week’s Warrnambool Cup on 7 May.
The train arrives in Warrnambool before the first race and departs after the last race to ensure you enjoy a full day of racing including the Grand Annual Steeplechase.
V/Line CEO, Rob Barnett, said the special race train is the best way to experience one of Victoria’s premier racing events.
“It’s a seamless journey from start to finish,” Mr Barnett said.
“We’ll take you from Melbourne to Warrnambool then straight to the course, ready for the first race.
“The Warrnambool Cup is always a great day out, so jump on board and let us do the driving. It’s the best bet you’ll have all day.”
Packages include economy return rail with V/Line, general admission to the track, and transfers to and from the course.
Return fares from Melbourne are $77.00 for adults and $46.00 for concessions. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on the train.
