All V/Line trains and most coach services depart and arrive into Southern Cross. It is V/Line's busiest train station with up to 30,000 passengers passing through during peak periods.

Tickets V/Line tickets are available from two booking offices one near the corner of Collins and Spencer streets and the other between the train station and coach terminal.

Luggage / baggage
Trolleys are available at various locations around the station. Lockers of various sizes are also available for hire for a maximum of 24 hours. The luggage hall is under the Bourke Street bridge between the train station and coach terminal.
V/Line passengers on services travelling to or from Bairnsdale, Shepparton, Swan Hill and Warrnambool can check-in their luggage into the luggage hall. For more information see the luggage section of this website.

Are located around the station. V/Line and other regional arrivals and departures are shown in red. Metropolitan services are shown in blue.
Check the PID when you arrive at the station to see which platform your service is leaving from.
Coach terminal
V/Line coaches, airport buses and other regional / interstate coaches leave from the Southern Cross coach terminal.
It is located next to the train station and can be accessed from Spencer Street (opposite Little Bourke Street) or from within the train station.
Station car parking
Wilsons Parking operate the car park at Southern Cross. There is no parking directly outside the station terminal except a 15 minute limit bay for disabled and a five minute pick-up / drop-off bay. Visit the Wilsons website for more information on car parking fees and hours.
Lost property
Items left on V/Line services and at stations are sent to the luggage hall of the station. You can contact the luggage hall about lost property on 03 9619 2588.
Getting to / from Flinders Street Station
Metropolitan trains depart and arrive from Flinders Street Station. The station is one stop from Southern Cross and takes less than five minutes.
If you are arriving or departing from Southern Cross your V/Line ticket also includes free metropolitan travel.

Travellers Aid offer support services and transport information for passengers with special needs. It is open from 07:00 until 22:00 daily.
