Travelling by rail only?
If the V/Line part of your journey is by rail only, use our simple Rail Fare Calculator to see how much your journey will cost.
Because this calculator is for rail locations only, not every V/Line location is listed in the drop-down menus. See below for coach stop locations.
Note: If travelling with Children under 17 years old, please see Family Traveller.
All or part of your journey by coach?
Coach fares are not so simple to calculate, as you can travel from one place to another in a variety of ways.
As a result, we need to know exactly what journey you are taking before we can provide you with a fare.
Use the 'Plan Your Journey' tool on the left hand side of our homepage once you have read the Help page (new window)
. The help page explains, step-by-step how to use Plan Your Journey to calculate your fare.
