V/Line tickets are accepted on some other operators' services within Victoria (see below).

CountryLink 'XPT', Melbourne <> Albury
The service travels between Southern Cross Station, Benalla, Wangaratta and Albury.

Reservations
Please note V/Line tickets are accepted on XPT services.
Please contact countryLink directly for reservations and ticketing.
Bikes on the XPTAs per the advice on the CountryLink website, bikes can be taken on board, but reservations are required.

GSR 'Overland', Melbourne <> NhillV/Line tickets are also sold on Great Southern Rail's 'Overland' service between Southern Cross and Nhill (also stopping at North Shore, Ararat, Stawell, Dimboola and Horsham).
Up to 60 seats are available to Victorians at V/Line ticket prices to travel as far as Nhill.
From 11 April 2011 Overland trains will stop at Stawell Station. For more information read the media release.
Melbourne to Nhill services depart Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Nhill to Melbourne services depart Mondays, Wedenesdays and Fridays.

Reservations
Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance by calling V/Line on 136 196. You can also buy online.
V/Line priced tickets cannot be purchased on the train or through Great Southern Rail.
Customers wishing to travel beyond Nhill (e.g. to/from Adelaide) should purchase a standard Great Southern Rail ticket - see the GSR website.
Christian's bus service, Ararat <> WarrnamboolA Department of Transport bus runs between Ararat and Warrnambool, operated by Christian’s Bus Company.
Although the service is not operated by V/Line, our tickets are accepted on the service.
